Hello, hello! Welcome to the first post of the Best Body Fitness blog! I look forward to sharing many things in the future – fitness tips, motivation, healthy living topics, recipes, and more. As much fun as all that will bring, I also need to emphasize something. The blog portion of this site will keep a personal touch as well. The community and support that can develop through blogs and their readers should not be left out of a site dedicated to inspiring and achieving personal goals. So, I sincerely hope you will join me and participate just as you have over the past two years of my blogging career! It wouldn’t be the same without you!
So, let’s get caught up shall we?!
Obviously, I have spent a good portion of the past week hard at work on this site. Peter and I designed everything and I had quite a bit of background work on my hands as well. I had to make sure everything was well prepared to venture into the personal training side of things. AKA I needed to legally cover myself in lots of ways. It certainly took a lot of commitment, but I would have to say it’s worth it. I know I’m happy!
We have also been busy in other ways too. Lots of stuff on the home front. Things like preparing for Thanksgiving. Buying a new couch. Painting our dining room.
Nothing too exciting. Although, you may prefer the less exciting over the bigger “excitements” I have had recently. I’m currently getting over a non-too-pretty little medical situation. Over the weekend, I had a quite horrendous, ugly, and painful cyst appear under my arm. Turns out, I had to have some incisions to help that bad boy out. Can I just say that I did not realize how vital the armpit is in everyday movement? I have been barley able to move! Much less workout. Not the best news in the world when I have a half marathon this weekend!
If I have learned anything, though, it is that the body is strong. Even if I arrive at the start line on Saturday with stiff legs, I know I will get through the race. And I will have FUN. The most important thing of all, of course. To have FUN with my fitness. At least I know I will be well fueled.
