Fun Fact Friday: A to Z

by tinareale on March 16, 2012

I doubt this fun little survey needs much of an introduction, as it’s been around the world and back  by now. Janetha created a winner and I’m all for it as a perfect Fun Fact Friday post. Happy Friday!!!

A is for age: 28. Although, I swear I’m 30. I get confused with my age all. the. time. I think it’s because Peter and most of my friends are in their 30s.

B is for breakfast today: Oatmeal. Did you even have to ask?

C is for currently craving: A good run OUTDOORS!!!! Seriously. I finally felt up to it yesterday afternoon, but a mile into it I had to turn around and head home due to some storm that came out of nowhere. It will be gorgeous for my race Sunday, though!

D is for dinner tonight: I don’t like to cook on Fridays. I don’t like to cook any night, really, so I just revolt on Fridays. Leftover pasta it is!

E is for favorite type of exercise: Running! I used to think I would never say that. Now, it’s by far my favorite type of exercise. I think for the therapy aspect.

F is for an irrational fear: That something bad will happen to Peter or my kids. I have always had a strong fear that something will.

G is for gross food: Cottage cheese. The single food I hate the absolute most. Gag me with a spoon!

H is for hometown: Atlanta! Yep. I’m the gal who has lived in the same state her entire life.

I is for something important: My faith. It is the foundation of my world.

J is for current favorite jam: David Crowder Band “Like A Lion”. Whenever it comes on, I want to sing along at the top of my lungs. I don’t, though. Because that would ruin the song.

And am I the only one that thought “current favorite jam” meant favorite flavor of spreadable jam at first? Oh, okay. That was just me.

K is for kids: I think you know. 2 kids. 1 boy. 1 girl. 10098080880149 cute.

L is for current location: My kitchen table? How literal are we talking here?

M is for the most recent way you spent money: Past and pasta sauce at Trader Joes. Well, that was technically Peter, since he picked it up. So, I guess mine would be all the song downloading I did a couple nights ago. I’ll try to share my favorites since I know I had a few requests! Smile

N is for something you need: A maid. Oh, what I would do for a maid.

O is for occupation: Certified Personal Trainer and blogger…but my life is in my family.

P is for pet peeve: When people pick at their nails. The sound gets under my skin like nothing else!

Q is for a quote: No doubt.

R is for random fact about you: I was stalked in kindergarten. I had to walk to school and my mom would receive a phone call from this woman every day, detailing what I wore and claiming she would “take me away to be hers forever”. She left gifts on our porch and all sorts of crazy stuff. I ended up having to be escorted to school for a few months until they found the woman.

S is for favorite healthy snack: Larabars or Chobani yogurt with Love Grown granola. And I’m so stoked to visit the CHOmobile tomorrow!!!!!

T is for favorite treat: Dairy Queen blizzards. They’re a weakness.

U is for something that makes you unique: I grew up doing gymnastics, dance, and cheerleading but have never been flexible. I’m thankful I can even touch my toes these days!

V is for favorite vegetable: Spinach, broccoli, or zucchini. Because I use them in everything.

W is for today’s workout: None! Resting up for the race on Saturday. Like I need more rest.

X is for X-rays you’ve had: I had some after I was hit by a car, but no broken bones!

Y is for yesterday’s highlight: Going to the park with the kids. Love those little guys!

Z is for your time zone: Eastern. And am I the only one that gets confused by how much the time difference is in other states?

Your Turn…Tell me something about you! What’s your current favorite jam? Grossest food to you? Dinner tonight? Or last way you spent money? Anything!

Tina from Oxygen would cringe that you love running so much! Who would’ve ever have thought you’d be such a natural?!

Cottage cheese used to creep me out beyond belief, but somehow I’ve warmed up to it this year. Olives are still high up on my list though, yuck!

I’m loving this survey right now! It’s my fav task on my to do list for the weekend!

I’m craving a run–that isn’t just 5 minutes! Still, coming back from this injury smart is so important, and I’ll be running long soon enough!

I haven’t had a blizzard in so long, but now that I’m thinking about them and the weather is nice…well, you know where this is headed.

Don’t worry–that’s what I thought that “jam” was referring to too! My favorite jam of late is “Lion’s Roar” by First Aid Kit. My favorite spreadable jam is raspberry!

18 natalie @ southern fit foodie March 16, 2012 at 8:43 am

First, that stalker thing is totally creepy!!!!!! Who does that?!

Second, I did this survey last night and I answered the jam question with “homemade strawberry jam” and then realized it meant music, but I didn’t change my answer :)

Third, GOOD LUCK ON YOUR RACE tomorrow!!!! Saying a prayer for you now!

Liver:( My dad liked it so my mom would make it when we were growing up and we had to eat it too. My parents made us sit at the table until we finished. I’d try stuffing it into pockets and squirreling it in my cheeks to flush down the toilet.

My husband has the same “P” as you! I can do that from the other room and I hear him screaming at me to stop. Sometimes I do it just to see his reaction ;)

i have a lot to say about this post…
1st: i LOVE that song by david crowder too! my husband and i blast it on the radio whenever it comes on. :)
2nd: that is a crazy story about you having a stalker in kindergarten! you must’ve just been a darn cute little kid!
3rd: i totally have a weakness for DQ blizzards too… good thing there’s not a ton of DQs here in northern utah, otherwise i’d be in trouble. although, i suppose i make up for it with plenty of trips to get frozen yogurt. ;)

I love that quote as well :)
My personal least favorite food is the banana. I realize that everyone else seems to love them, but the smell and look just makes me feel ill. It’s always a problem in communal living situations…
Happy Friday!

So many things I want to comment on…. Um… you’re young. I’m old. I have a hat that says the same thing about running. A kindergarten stalker? Say what?
Happy Friday! Have a great weekend!

I LOVE Spinach. But only raw. Cooked spinach grosses me out.

Workout today… NONE. Two sick kiddos. Happy Friday!

I am terrible with time zone conversion! I work for a company on the west coast and that conversion is always easy, but ask me about MT or CT and I get confused as hell. No idea why. And now I want a blizzard!!!

So crazy that you were stalked as a kid! That’s super scary. Definitely the most unique thing that I would’ve never thought of on here. I love that quote too- I have it on Pinterest somewhere. It’s great.

Good luck with your half marathon!

Grossest food is LIVER. I can’t stand the smell, makes me sick. So since hubby loves it so much he has it every time I leave town on a biz trip. Just found out my stepson’s new girlfriend loves it too oh boy lol

I love Reggae music, it always pumps me up but I also love to move to anything by Jennifer Lopez.

Yesterday I spent money on cat supplies at the pet store and had a late lunch out with hubby…fish tacos! Yum!

So.random.lol.
