The days keep passing and the race keeps sneaking up on me. Thank you all so much for the support in the past few days. I continue to feel more and more excited for Sunday! A little extra motivation never hurts, though. Here is some I have found in the past few days. Motivation for me, and perhaps for you too. ![]()

love this! can always use extra motivation! good luck this weekend!
I’m so proud of you that you’re doing this! You’re going to be awesome!
Oh you KNOW I love these posts!
I could use some motivation to fake it til I make it when it comes to loving my body. I have my really awesome days and I feel so good about myself, but every now and again I get down on myself and in a negative place. I am refusing to go to that feeling like crap place/taking it out on myself/missing out cycle. With a beautiful, warm, sunny weekend ahead with plans to go out and do things (requiring wearing shorts, dresses, bathing suits, etc.) ahead, I need to remind myself: life is now, not five pounds from now! my body is perfect the way it is! Sorry for sorting this out as a comment on your blog! Looks like your question was enough to motivate me…
No, sort it out! That’s what the blog community is – a place to share and support. And YES – you are beautiful and I hope you enjoy every moment of this upcoming weekend.
I am so excited for you!! I can’t wait to hear how it goes!! I could use some extra motivation to not go crazzzzy during the last month of school. My third graders are getting restless!
I was up until 2am working… I could use motivation not to face plant on my computer right now.
So excited it’s almost here!!!! I can’t wait to hear all about your conquering this race!
So excited to see how much you rock your marathon on Sunday!
Not being able to run right now is all the motivation I need. There’s nothing like someone or something telling you NO to make you want to go do it!
You are going to do awesome this Sunday!! Love the Dr. Seuss quote
I love dr. seuss quotes! You’re going to do great! When I get freaked out I try to not think about it and just focus on what i’m doing right now!
Gotta love Dr. Seuss! Reminded me of the movie The Lucky One, Zac Effron quoted Dr. Seuss- “Sometimes, the questions are complicated, and the answers are simple.”
Thanks Tina!!! Love the Dr. Seuss quote! Perfect for all kinds of events.
Good luck at your race, I know you are going to kill it!!! Enjoy every minute!
Thanks a lot for the extra boost of motivation! That’s exactly what I need right now. I’m going to race a 10k tomorrow and getting a little nervous.
Good luck for your race, too!
Oooohhh! That made me want to go for a run!
Love this collection of motivation! I am so excited to hear how you do this weekend!! It’ll hurt so good but be so worth it!!
I am super excited to hear about how your first marathon experience is!! BEST of luck, and be sure to load up your running playlist with lots of tobyMac!!
I made my playlist a couple days ago and Toby Mac is (not surpisingly) the most frequent artist in it. Love him!
You always find great motivation on pinterest! Good luck on Sunday, Tina. I’m sure you will rock it!
Always love your motivational quotes! Keep em coming! And good luck on Sunday
Fantastic motivation! Tina, you’ve got this…you’ve crushed goal after goal!! I can’t wait to hear how your 26.2 goes!
Can’t wait to hear how your race goes this weekend. You are ready!!! Good luck!
I’m counting down to my first full on Sunday, too, and i am officially freaking out! Sunday just needs to hurry up and get here! Good luck!!!
I love motivational quotes. So much so that that’s what my post was this morning too!
Good luck on your marathon Tina!! I am running my first half Sunday and love this motivational page.
Love these! I need some motivation to get me through field day at my son’s school today!
Great motivation! These kind of quotes make me smile, especially Dr. Sues ones- what a wise, wise man! His rhyming quotes just have a way to make you feel like you’re special and perfect no matter what. Everyone could use a little encouragement on a daily basis, especially if you don’t have someone in your life to tell you how great you are everyday. I always find it interesting when I see “Just Do It” advertisements. I learned about the ad campaign for Nike and how they put it together, and it was a very inspiring and unique campaign that went beyond trying to sell athletic gear, but actually ended up being something even bigger than what people thought ads could or should do. It inspired people to go out and do the things they wanted without hesitation-even citing a few instances where some women wrote to Nike and said “I finally got the confidence to leave ‘him’ “. Pretty cool!
Good luck and those are some great motivators!
