Blessings: Transformation & Family

miracle business

If you have visited my personal blog for any length of time, you know that I believe the path my life took is a miracle. All the change involved that has led me along a path far better than the one I would have been content to follow. And I credit it all to putting my trust in God and seeking a relationship with Christ. That changed ME on the INSIDE more than I can express and in the best possible ways.

I have watched a miracle in my life – a transformation – so this Adrian Rogers quote really struck a chord with me. We may not be able to see God or have the chance to shake hands with Jesus right now, but He is still hard at work. In our homes, lives, families, and futures.

I hope you are currently having a blissful weekend, but I wanted to take the time to invite you to something I think is going to be pretty special.

Starting today (at the above times), you can join me in reflections on something we should all be able to relate to – FAMILY. I have had hurts from my family in my past. They have changed for the better. I have days where I feel I fail now as a wife and mother. I know where to turn to continue to change for the better. I think this series will have lots of applicable lessons for us all and I would love to join together – how awesome to have the chance to do this together even if I’m at my local North Point Church and you’re miles away or just unsure of the whole “church thing”. So, hope to “see” you there!

North Point sounds awesome, Tina! So glad you’ve found it :)
Shane and I have tried countless churches in our area…and none really seem to fit us. Unfortunately, this has lead to not going on Sundays :-/ Keeping looking though…hopefully there’s one we’re missing!

Thank you so much for letting me know about this series…this is so fitting for where Alex and I are right now. Struggling with the idea of raising our own family when there are still so many hurts from our past that we are dealing with. I can’t wait to watch this later today and follow along! Thanks!

It does sound like something you would enjoy listening to, Tanya. He touched on a few of those things today and said he plans to over the course of the series. Definitely let me know if you listen.

PS – Can you beleive it’s been a year since we were hanging out at HLS?!

I love this Tina. You are such an inspiration to me to continue to build my own faith. Scott and I haven’t found a church we both love but we both do practice our faith in our own way…even if that’s just by watching a Joel Osteen sermon on tv each sunday. It centers us, re-instills our faith in us and gets us in the right head space for the week ahead.

oh wish i could be there! You know how important church and faith are to me. It’s fellowship, its community. I am looking forward to this series. Hugs!

Wow, what an awesome idea, I love what North Church is doing! And so so awesome that you found it. I will check it out! Have a great rest of your weekend!

We’ve actually known about it for years since our small group has done Andy Stanley studies quite a few times and North Point is literally in our backyard. We always wanted to check it out but were plugged into the other church. So when it came time to find somewhere closer to our home and with other changes, we didn’t even have to think twice about where we would end up and I LOVE it. I also love that they have online messages that I can share here with you guys. :)

I love that although our faithpaths are different—they are the same.

in all the ways which matter.

I love those quotes! God had done a miracle in my family. It’s crazy to look back even 10 years ago and comparing now. He is so good!
