no magic pill

Now, you tell me…what are YOU going to do TODAY to show your hard work, dedication, and consistency?

1 Jill @ Fitness Health and Happiness August 15, 2012 at 7:10 am

So true! I did abs this a.m. and Les Mills Pump on the schedule for this evening :)

2 MizFit August 15, 2012 at 7:13 am

Yoga. Even tho I do not wanna :-)

3 alyssa - fashion fitness foodie August 15, 2012 at 7:14 am

I think it’s so silly when I see girls take diet pills etc – Live a healthy lifestyle and all will be good!

I’m going for a 4 mile run this morning :)

4 tinareale August 16, 2012 at 7:44 am

I had four miles yesterday too. Hope yours went well!

5 Danielle August 15, 2012 at 7:16 am

I started my morning with a 5 min 30 sec plank! Going to a muscle conditioning 60 min circuit class tonight!

6 tinareale August 16, 2012 at 7:45 am

Now, THAT is uber impressive.

7 misszippy August 15, 2012 at 7:30 am

Isn’t that the truth! I’m tapering this week, so just a one-hour bike ride and an easy swim.

8 Lee August 15, 2012 at 8:02 am

I’m going to run! My 5K is on Saturday.

9 Annie August 15, 2012 at 8:38 am

8k run done & this is day 10 of not counting calories! Hard but worth it

10 Mellissa August 15, 2012 at 8:41 am

Lots of water, healthy food and a scheduled day off! My legs are sore!

11 tinareale August 16, 2012 at 7:45 am

I wonder what possibly could have done that to your legs. ;)

12 Heather (Where's the Beach) August 15, 2012 at 8:53 am

Awesome! This morning I did 5 miles with new running partner. That included 4 x 800′s. Now that’s kicking off the day strong ;-) (and I pinned)

13 Amanda @ Click. The Good News August 15, 2012 at 9:00 am

Lol…I totally thought this post was about the tech gadget Fit Bit! I ran 5K and did a 75 min hot yoga class already this morning.

14 tinareale August 16, 2012 at 7:46 am

Haha! Nope. I just call my weekly motivation posts “Fit Bit”. I didn’t even think of the gadget when titling them. too funny.

Getting back in the gym for a strength workout after a few weeks off the weights!

16 Jess August 15, 2012 at 9:28 am

barre n9ne to start the day followed by good, fueling nourishing foods all day long, LOTS of water and an early bed time. :)

17 Sharla August 15, 2012 at 9:28 am

Went to the gym at 5:30 am for workout B!!

18 Sarah Kay Hoffman August 15, 2012 at 10:16 am

This ROCKS! Pinning…and for me today? Weights, weights and more weights!

19 Katie @ Talk Less, Say More August 15, 2012 at 10:54 am

Yoga + some cardio later this morning or early afternoon. :)

20 Melissa @ Live, Love, & Run August 15, 2012 at 10:55 am

21 Danica @ It's Progression August 15, 2012 at 11:08 am

perfectly said.
I did a 4 mile interval run this morning as part of my training for my 2nd half marathon in October! Felt great!

22 Paige @ Your Trainer Paige August 15, 2012 at 11:37 am

Ugh, one of my clients this morning was telling about a couple of her friends whose *doctors* were prescribing them diet pills..something about a bee pollen shot, and then heart rate elevating pills. Quack quack. The pic above says it all!

23 tinareale August 16, 2012 at 7:48 am

OH sheesh. I don’t get doctors who stand behind such things. I understand meds for conditions like cholesterol, blood pressure, other things associated with weight at times. BUT to “cure” the weight issue with anything but healthy diet and exercise = WHY?!

24 Yellow Haired Girl August 15, 2012 at 11:43 am

I slept in this morning … instead of going for a run. So I’m going to find a way to get active after work! Maybe some yoga? Maybe I’ll clean the house? We’ll see – but it’ll be something!

25 Calee August 15, 2012 at 11:44 am

LOVE this.

I’m going to run my 2-3 miles I was supposed to run yesterday. I should have run yesterday over lunch, but I wanted to mail my foodie pen pal box before the deadline because I knew I would forget about it and mail it late otherwise.

Lunch = run. :)

26 Lisa August 15, 2012 at 12:57 pm

Good reminder!

This morning I woke up and laid in bed wanting to cry because I was so exhausted (I’ve had insomnia for four days now) and just wanted to roll over and go back to sleep. But I got up and rode my bike to work. I’m happy I did. I feel good for doing it.

27 Brittany August 15, 2012 at 1:42 pm

I am going to not chicken out during pull-ups!

28 jobo August 15, 2012 at 3:14 pm

Love this! It’s all about consistency and hard work. For me, though, I am going back to basics and reminding myself – smarter not harder. It’s easy to get too excited and want to do it all sometimes :)

29 Rachel @RunningRachel August 15, 2012 at 3:32 pm

Love this quote/image!! :)

30 Traci August 15, 2012 at 3:48 pm

Great quote! I ran 30 minutes at 5 am! That’s only 2.5 miles for me but it’s more than I would’ve done sleeping so I call it a win!

31 [email protected] August 15, 2012 at 4:19 pm

6 mile HIIT run this a.m. and tonight, teaching BodyPUMP!

32 Kierston August 15, 2012 at 5:52 pm

Love it! Thanks for sharing :)

33 Leonor @FoodFaithFitness August 16, 2012 at 2:35 pm

Today I woke up at 4:30 am to run even though I wanted to stay in bed!

34 Heather Baedke August 22, 2012 at 8:38 pm

Is there anyway possible I could still buy the Bootcamp 2 work outs. I know that I will not be on target but I would like to do the workouts at least if I could. I totally missed the sign up~ so sorry but would be glad to buy them and start just using them.
