I have had a very busy week, so I’m going to hold off on the post I had planned for today so I can give it proper attention. Plus, I have a few things I need to announce that I don’t want lost in the shuffle.
First up, I realized I never told you all the winner for the My Race Ragz giveaway!

And speaking of winner’s, I also need to announce Week 3 of Best Body Bootcamp’s winner – SABRINA J! Keep that motivation up all my Best Body Bootcampers to be in the running for the four $1000 prizes at the end of this. We’re halfway there!

I have had quite a few people requesting information lately on IF there will be another round. Well, I’m pleased to let you all know that it’s not a question of IF but of WHEN…and that’s not too much of a question either! I have officially marked the dates in my calendar, so you go ahead and mark the dates for yours too!
*BEST BODY BOOTCAMP ROUND THREE WILL TAKE PLACE OCTOBER 22ND THROUGH DECEMBER 16TH!!! This will hopefully help keep motivation up for the holiday season. I then plan to move right into Round 4 the first part of January to keep that fire burning. Registration for Round Three will open on Monday September 17, after the close of the current round of boot camp. Mark your calendars now. I sure hope to see you there!!!

Nope. I have modifications for ALL exercises to be functional for home workouts too.

Awesome awesome! I’m so excited. I have been part of all Bootcamps so far and I can’t tell you how much (in addition to your personal training program) it has made a difference in my life.

I’m totally in for the next one and looking forward to it! What is the time commitment?
It’s 8 weeks long and the plan is geared to 5 approximately hour workouts per week. However, my goal is to have the plan be flexibile so I give suggestions for those with limited days/time for training and an optional extra day for those who workout 6 days per week.
That sounds perfect and the timing is great, too. I’ve got 2 half-marathons in October and am then going to be ready for a serious change of pace.
I’m definitely going to have to look into registering!

Oh my gosh, Tina, this is TOO perfect! My last race of the season is October 21, and I wasn’t entirely sure what I’d do for fitness after running season ended. Now I know! I’ve wanted to do one of your Best Body Bootcamps since the first round, but I wasn’t confident that I’d be able to stick to the plans when training for my first 10K or my first half marathon (Sept. 9), but this is absolutely ideal for my schedule. Ahhhhhh I’m so excited!! I’m totally going to do it!
YAY!!!! I know you’ve been wanting to try it. I have a tentative race for Oct 21 too which is why I set it for then too.

Tina, I’m so glad you’re already planning for round 3! I had every intention of signing up for this round, but with training for a half marathon at the end of September I was afraid I would burn out. Round 3, here I come!

For anyone wondering if it’s worth it – - IT IS!! For only $25 you’re getting an AMAZING 8 week program that you can completely modify to your own skill set and needs. You would pay HUNDREDS from a gym trainer for that kind of program. Plus, the support is amazing. <3
No excuses either. I’m doing the next one too. I’m really excited for you that this is doing so well.
I might need to register for round 3, I need a way to keep myself accountable for my workouts and be able to track my progress in a concrete and organized way. Its awesome you do this and are so genuine in wanting to help others with the knowledge you’ve acquired!

Tina, it’s been fun to follow your workouts especially strength to mix it up a bit. I’m still juggling it in between 50K training, but it’s fun to have some other goals to mix into my week. And having weekly “goals” like not eating processed foods and getting to bed on time definitely helps me make it happen. Thanks for putting this on!
I have no doubt you have to alter some things for 50K training. And remember to always email if you need any help with it at any time.

Exciting! I loved Bootcamp #2 and am a little sad I am missing out on the fun this time. Bootcamp #3 will start right after I finish with the JH musical so it sounds like a great time for something new! Thank you for organizing the bootcamps and helping us get motivated to move because we can!
I (sadly) have never done a boot camp.
Really need to give one a try!
