I have a challenge for you today.
Fill in the blank. Honestly – either in your head, on a scrap piece of paper, in the comments, on your own blog. Wherever. Just fill in the blank.
I AM ________________________.
What comes to mind? How do you define yourself? Is it filled with truth? Or lies? Are you speaking kindly to yourself? Would you say what you just told yourself to a friend, a daughter, a stranger?
What is the truth? The truth is that there is no other you. You, my dear friend, are irreplaceable. You are a treasure. You are full of potential, and even the strength to reach that potential. You are…quite simply…freaking incredible. Now, you tell me in the comments:
I AM ________________________. Tell the truth this time.

“Awesome” came to mind first. No joke. But the more I think of it, the more I think I am “a dork.”
Stay awesome, my friends.
And you are awesome!
blessed. We all are. Just need to tell each other that daily.
<3
Love that answer! It encompasses everything.
I totally agree with Lindsay
Great post!
I am happy!
Great post!
I am freaking awesome, kick ass, gorgeous, funny, kind, deserving, loving… This could go in for a while. Thanks Tina, this was a great way to start the day!
First one…I am…feeling a little chilly (it’s seriously gotten cold over here in Ireland the last week!) – clearly avoiding the question!
I am…determined, strong and feeling altogether positive!!!
Seriously, I answered tired the first time around because I haven’t gotten much sleep lately and am now on an early train to Baltimore for Fitbloggin’. LOL. You are absolutely right though – my first instinct is to say something unkind about myself. Why is this hard? OK, I am strong and blessed.
I am a really hard worker.
Great post! Love it!
content. with my life. with my marriage. with my job. with my Savior.
“blessed” would be another one.
OK, so I read your post on my iPhone before I even got out of bed yet this morning, and I filled it in with “awake.”
LOL
Now that I’ve had my coffee, I choose “at peace,” which makes a little more senese
Hey – both are good.
Surrendered! being molded and shaped, and bronzed in the fire…because He loves me.
Oohhh….love this!
I am exhausted…. wait for it… because devoted time to myself this morning during my swim workout. I am working hard for a better healthier me!
That is an exhausted I can get behind.
I am STRONG – mentally, physically and emotionally.
Perfect reminder for the morning.
I am happy with who I am and who I’m becoming!
I am pure love
I am strong. I just got done with crossfit today and yoga and I feel stronger than ever! (:
in love
<3 the first thing that comes to mind, for obvious reasons hehe. love this exercise!
I think it’s a good thing you picked that answer.
FUNNY!
What a great post idea
AMAZING POST AND IT SAVED ME TODAY! I’m having a rough day, but here is my fill in the blank…
“I AM AMAZING AT POSITIVE SELF TALK!”
Thank you so much, Tina. I am sending you a hug right now.
And here is a hug right back.
I am having a love affair with my kids today!
That is pretty unusual because most days they drive me up the wall.
Love it.
I am ENERGETIC and blessed!
I am working hard today!
I am strong
thanks for this! I needed the reminder today
Hey, did you ever pick the winners for the Best Body Bootcamp??
They are announced in today’s post.
(Friday)
excited! and exhausted haha
I am always so mean to myself! I need to learn to be kinder to myself, I’m pretty sure what I see in the mirror isn’t what everyone else sees….. just need to get there.
It’s hard, I know, to change that mindset. It can honestly start as something you have to force yourself to do to think of positive things…but then it becomes more natural with consistent effort. You deserve to know how wonderful you truly are.
I am happy, beautiful and a good person. I like this! It’s very similar to my Healthy Thoughts, Healthy Actions pact I’ve got going on
Positive thinking and thoughts are really amazing!
This is really great Tina!
I am proud of the person I’ve become and the values I’ve developed this year.
What is your “I am” Tina??
Mine is honestly “a daughter of God” because it covers everything for me: loved, worthy, strong, capable, blessed, and so much more. Thanks for asking!
And I’m proud of ya too, Ashley!
