I don’t even know where to begin to describe this past weekend. If I had only one word to sum it up, I would undoubtedly choose “EPIC”. I don’t use that word lightly and hate how overused it has become. Nevertheless, nothing else will do to grasp just how much I enjoyed this weekend. Runner’s World Magazine prides itself on promoting the community of running and the way it can add joy to life….which they certainly did in this inaugural Runner’s World Half & Festival weekend.
I have loads upon loads to share with you. Consider that your warning. We’ve got a lot to cover this week – yes, it will take all week. If you are a fellow runner, I hope you will “geek out” with me virtually over some of the things I got to do and see this weekend. If you aren’t a runner, I hope you will still read along in appreciation of a community that promotes fitness as something anyone can do and seeks to inspire all. Plus, I got a pretty huge announcement to share with you all too. Like, HUGE huge.
I still have to wrap my mind around so much of this weekend and so many things to sort through to do justice to it all in my posts. I’m still feeling (and probably looking) a little like this right now.

official finish time of 1:52:28 for half marathon #4 at the most insanely cool race I have ever done
Beat, but riding the biggest runner’s high EVER. While I (unfortunately) come down from the epic that was this weekend, you can catch this quick little video with a sneak peak of some of the great things that happened the past 4 days.
