Good morning all! Did you have a good sleep last night? I sure did with my Technogel pillow, so I feel ready to attack the day today. Then sleep in tomorrow. Oh, that will feel so nice.I hope you all had a lovely week! And that a wonderful Friday awaits you. Enjoy life! It’s the little things that make it worthwhile.
Ornaments crafted by the pint-sized hands I so dearly love.

Okay. Braedon’s may have had a little adult sized hands help, but still cherished.
Knowing that dinner awaits at the end of a long day.

The crock pot may be my favorite way to “cook” out there. Although I do enjoy tossing things all together in a bowl and calling it good.

Cous Cous mixed with feta cheese, chopped plum tomatoes, kalamata olives, zucchini, squash, onion, and chicken. Sadly, I left out the artichoke hearts we had. I guess I will just have to make this delightful little mix for dinner again soon.
Cheap, but effective torture devices tools for self-massage.

That baby works wonders on the upper back. Give it a try. Just don’t kill the messenger.
Extra unexpected productivity.

I did a little work this past week at Starbucks rather than driving all around the world when the kids are in their preschool mornings. I got SO MUCH MORE accomplished than I normally do. Weekly habit now?
Motivational new running gear.

I received this Rock N Roll New Orleans shirt as part of the blog program. It is perfect! From the fit to the color to the design to the material.
A fresh tub of hummus in a fun, new flavor.

We somehow ran out earlier this week. I had to remedy that right away. I know I should make my own, but I truly do love Sabra and Trader Joes and all their flavors so much. So, I’ll keep buying.
Your Turn: What little things did you enjoy this week? Anyone else feel more productive at a place like Starbucks when getting things done?

Love the pics of the kids – they’re just too cute. I think this week I enjoyed having two nights to just relax at home with nothing else going on. It was the best!!
And apparently avoiding me on chat one of those nights.
hehe
I love that shirt! Race or training shirts always make me in the mood to run except for lately when all I want to do is sleep
The tennis ball also works wonders on the piriformis . . . Hurts so good!
Also, recently discovered the Edamame Hummus at TJs. So worth the trip!
Enjoy your weekend!
Love using it for the piriformis too! And would you believe I have still yet to try their edamame hummus?
I always seem to be more productive at Starbucks then I am at home for some reason. It’s become my favorite office.
Happy weekend love!
i’m always way more productive at starbucks or panera than i am at home!!
Little things: am unexpected snow day, anniversary–both wedding and day we met.
Happy Friday Tina! Love Braedon’s cheeks!!!
Happy anniversary, Becky!!!
I’m useless at working in public spaces, so easily distracted! Tennis ball is great for getting knots out, I actually us a hard slither..it’s used for camogie in Ireland
Sweet Kids! I love coming home to a slow cooker meal! and I have to ask (cause I’m nosey like that) what is your Starbucks order? I always order the same thing so I’m always interested in others drinks;)
That time I ordered a Grande Americano black (and then I brought unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a stevia packet to add to it).
Love the pictures…your kids are so cute. Shame on leaving out the artichokes.
Have a good weekend!
Oh I need to search for that flavor. Love sabra. Finally tried hummnut with some yesterday. YUM
My Starbucks study sessions were HUGE for my productivity and now that the studying is over, I’ve found myself missing them so I’ve gone back for writing sessions. Yep, just as good!
I too have surprisingly got a lot done at Starbucks!
Have a lovely weekend!
I get so distracted at home, I almost always get more things done at a coffee shop then I would at home! I have plans to crank a few projects out tomorrow at starbucks because I know they wont get done at home!
Crock pots are probably my favorite kitchen tool (well…toasters and microwaves are pretty high on that list too). Throwing everything in there and coming home after a day of work to have your place smell fantastic is the BEST.
I’ve definitely used a tennis ball as a foam roller substitute since I don’t have a foam roller right now, and those things can be brutal. Hurts so good!
I’ve never tried a tennis ball for upper back. I need a massage BADLY. I may need to torture myself via tennis ball massage later.
I use the tennis ball for my feet–hurts so good!
Nothing better than new running gear to get you moving! The crock pot is hands down my favorite way to “cook” (love how you used quotations here) because its not only easy but makes the house smell amazing! Have a great and relaxing weekend!
Your kids are so sweet and adorable! The little things are the big things in life and most important!
I need to FIND that hummus! YUM!
Happy weekend!
mine was 100% organic and cost 1/3 as much,
BTW, those ornaments? the cute hurts.
This week has been all about getting my focus back on family. For me the highlights included family dinner every night, baking cookies with Joycie last night, and several games of hide and seek.
Homemade ornaments are some of the most precious things about Christmas! <3 Little B's face is angelic!
And my crockpot has been my best friend all week!
Cuuuuttteee kiddos!
I enjoyed reading a fun book while relaxing before bed this week.
that first picture…priceless! tooc ute
and yes love going to coffee shops to be a in new environment. sometimes it helps, sometimes I get even more distracted
I don’t own a foam roller, so when I was training for my half marathon, I would roll a hand weight over my legs to get the kinks out. Worked well for me!
ohh i gotta find that hummus! and love the ornament. Those are just precious!
Having nothing to do on this Friday night! PJ’s are on, watching TV, and shutting down early. I’ve been working on disconnecting a lot earlier at night and spending more time winding down and relaxing. It feels good! Have a wonderful weekend!
I guess there’s not many distractions at Starbucks unless you run into a friend- then all hell breaks lose.
The little things for me this week: My boyfriend making the effort to come to my Body Step launch, watching a movie with my mum, nailing an awesome recipe, walnuts + raisins (nuff said), Chobani, weights, a morning text from my amazing man.
Sounds like a great week!!!
You need to try the Tomato Basil Hummus at Trader Joes…ohmygoodness its amazing!
Rest is def needed, and you deserve it with all that running
