Chicken, cous cous, and broccoli for dinner takes a lot of concentration.

Humor that I love. Thanks, Jolene, for sharing that gem with me!

Growing up so fast! And into cars, just like daddy.

So, so true.

The perfect present – a planner, a journal, pretty pens, and a Trader Joe’s gift card. Thanks so much, Angie, for the wonderful gift!

Whisking egg whites into oatmeal? I did it for the first time this week. Makes it a lot more voluminous and filling and you can’t taste them at all. I will say it changes the texture a little bit, though not in a bad way. I am a hugely sensitive texture eater and it didn’t bother me at all.

Um, yes. That. Which is why this post is so short. Catch ya later and have a very merry Christmas if you don’t get the chance to come around again until afterwards.

I always whisk egg whites into my oatmeal. I can’t eat them any other way now – love it! Your kids are too adorable.

Egg whites in oats are a beautiful thing! Next, you need to try whipped cottage cheese – although that one make take a little more getting used to. ;) Have a lovely weekend!

How did you know??? ;) The chicken breast, broccoli, and couscous combination is seriously one of my FAVORITE meals. I mix it all together, drizzle a little bit of olive on there, and throw in my favorite spices. YUM.

Omg. Your kids are too cute and I can’t believe how big they’ve gotten. I feel like I’ve been following your blog for awhile now and have watched both of them grow. Too cute!!!

That picture is almost too cute!!! Two gorgeous kiddies! I remember serving up couscous to the kids in playgroup I did some work experience in years ago and it ended up EVERYWHERE!

Haha I love the concentration while they’re eating their dinner. Too cute. I’m glad you loved the whisked egg whites in your oatmeal! I actually prefer the texture with the egg in there… It makes it all thick and custard-y! Yum!
