Nature Made Ambassador Highlights

by tinareale on March 26, 2013

Over the past couple of months I had the pleasure of working with a brand I have always trusted and used – Nature Made. That direct relationship comes to a close soon, but I will forever be a lover of Nature Made products. In honor of this experience (and the finished videos!!!), I wanted to do a little reflection – the things I enjoyed most from my time as a Nature Made ambassador. Keep reading since you may find some video action from the event back in January!

Nature Made Ambassadorship Highlights

1. Working with a  brand passionate about bringing health to others. One of my biggest motivators for sharing this blog and providing things like Best Body Bootcamp is because I hope to bring health to others. I respect any individual or group of individuals who have the same desire, which Nature Made clearly does. They spend loads of time researching what consumers want to make their vitamins a user-friendly experience. They ensure quality so people can trust and feel  good about taking their vitamins. They want to give the best to everyone who tries Nature Made and want people to improve their health one small vitamin at a time.

2. Touring the labs and processing facilities.

What a cool experience! I don’t know when, or if, I will ever get the chance to do something like that again. I loved seeing the behind the scenes steps and all the quality assurance. I feel like I learned so much about vitamins in that visit alone! Which brings me to…

3. Learning more about vitamins.

Having the chance to participate in Q + A sessions with experts from the Nature Made team gave us the chance to really learn about vitamins. It came at the perfect time as I was studying vitamins at that time for my fitness certification. It brought everything all together and more firmly established in my mind the need for a quality diet with safe supplementation to fill in any gaps. In fact, this alone has helped me remain more mindful of getting variety in my diet, which I plan to keep working on as it’s a tough habit for me to break.

4. Trying the Vitamelts.

Those things are so good, so efficient, and they work. I used the Zinc and Vitamin C VitaMelts to support my immune system during this bad cold season. The sleep tablets with melatonin have been my best friend on restless nights or when traveling. I take the B and D ones daily now. Their ease of use helps me always keep up with taking them and I love the little bit of flavor after my lunch. I’ve been sticking to my pledge to take these vitamins recommended to me by my doctor and plan to continue to do so. Those Nature Made pledges seem to be sticking with me! They really are Vitamins Made Simple.

5. Filming a video.

Talk about a NEW experience. I thought I would be a nervous wreck when having cameras following us around the entire trip, capturing everything. Then to have to sit and do interview sessions? Eeep! It surprisingly went okay and I actually had a lot of fun. It felt almost natural.

What’s an experience you have enjoyed recently?

Tina, I have been seeing these vitamins all around the fitness blogs, but I do have a question that I hope you can answer:

When would you suggest is the best time of day to take the B vitamin for energy? In the morning or when my energy is lagging during the afternoon?

Thank you!!

16 Tina March 27, 2013 at 6:46 am

The NatureMade vitamelts can be taken twice a day, so I usually do mid morning and mid to later afternoon (10 am ish and 3-5 pm ish). It’s good to split up B doses because its water soluble and taking one megadose won’t give your body time to take it all in. Hope this helps!
