SUM UP YOUR BLOG:

Formerly of Running with Sass, I changed my blog name in March to reflect the changes in my life. While I still have a major focus on running and healthy living, I also now blog more about travel, family, faith, and anything else that strikes my fancy! I am married and have two fur babies. I live on the gulf coast and love to travel!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO STAY FIT?

Running is my favorite way to stay fit followed closely by volleyball.

DO YOU HAVE ANY CURRENT GOALS OR RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO SHARE?

I recently PR’ed in the full marathon, half marathon (I ran goofy in Disney World!) and the 5k. Gunning for a 10K PR next! I would love to better my times in all distances, of course but am happy with where I am.

WHAT ARE 5 THINGS YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT?

  1. My Lord and Savior- Nothing I am or do is possible without God. I am so thankful for His blessings and His grace that I don’t deserve. My faith is of number one importance to me.
  2. My family- my family is amazing and supportive. How many people can say they really get along with their parents and hang out with them all the time? I also have an amazing husband who supports my dreams, my blog, and my running. I am so, so blessed.
  3. Running- Running is what got me started on healthy living in all areas of my life, and blogging. I don’t know what my life would look like right now without it!
  4. Healthy living- Everyone sort of snowballs once you start living the healthy way! Eating well, getting enough sleep, being active, and being mentally healthy and rested are all so important to me.
  5. My dogs- My furry little babies mean so much to me. We hang out all day while I work, and they are always happy to see me no matter what. I may or may not flood instagram with photos of them…

WHAT IS YOUR #1 TIP FOR HEALTHY LIVING?

Start small and simple. Too many changes at once can be overwhelming and cause you to give up. Slowly add in new changes and habits, and you have a better chance of keeping them!

WHAT ARE 3 OF YOUR FAVORITE POSTS?

  • My Goofy’s Challenge race recap. This was a huge accomplishment for me, running a half marathon Saturday and a full on Sunday. I still can’t believe I did it.
  • Still Running With Sass is the post I wrote when I switched my blog name over earlier this month. It took me forever to write because I had so much I wanted to say! I was so afraid people wouldn’t like the change but everyone was so supportive.
  • How it all began is a favorite because it tells the story of how my running journey got started. You can see in it why i have such a passion for runDisney, it’s what got me hooked on running to begin with!

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WISH TO SHARE: I am so lucky to have fit friends online. Some of my very best "real life" friends are those that I met online.  I am so thankful to the online/blogging community for giving me great friends and people I can confide in who understand me and the things I am going through. Don’t be afraid to jump in and join the conversation!

Thank you, Heather, for sharing! Be sure to stop by and say hi to her. You’ll be glad you did!

Are you a Disney fan? Ever done a runDisney race or wanted to do one? Definitely bucket list races for me!

I love RunDisney races! I’ve run a few of the halfs as well as one full (sorry, that was enough for me!!). Unfortunately, I’m sidelined right now with a foot injury but I really want to run the Disney Wine and Dine–hopefully next year!
