Morning, friends! I can hardly believe we’re already through another week (and another month!). Since it’s Friday, that means I have another Fit Friends Feature for you. Today I welcome one of my very favorite bloggers out there – Lindsay from The Lean Green Bean. She rocks! Check her out…

SUM UP YOUR BLOG: A Registered Dietitian’s approach to life: balanced, simple, real. I share healthy recipes, workouts, nutrition tips, snapshots of my life and the occasional tasty treat!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO STAY FIT? Currently, Crossfit. My hubby and I started in November of last year and have become quite addicted. We go 5-6 days per week!


DO YOU HAVE ANY CURRENT GOALS OR RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO SHARE? I recently set a lifetime PR for back squat when I hit 175#. Even when I was playing elite volleyball and lifting weights regularly, I couldn’t squat that much. It was awesome! Also, I can do pull-ups for the first time since I was about 6 years old. My current goal is a handstand pushup. I’m getting close!

LOVE Lindsay! I was lucky enough to meet her at BLEND this year which was so fun. I also love that the blog made it on her list of passions- I haven’t thought about mine as one of my passions, but it is. And way to go on the 175 back squat! So inspiring!

Lindsey looks great!! I enjoy reading her blog! For a college girl it’s really inspiring to see women who are busy raising a family taking care of their bodies and their health.

Great write up on Lindsay! I really like her advice about taking things one small thing at a time. I’ve fallen in to the trap of trying to do it all at once plenty of times – it never works! Love your blog! -Samantha
