SUM UP YOUR BLOG: The overall theme of my blog is about balancing the stresses and demands of life with fitness and faith. My blog isn’t quite a "lifecasting" blog, but my posts are sparked by whatever is going on in my life at the moment — I share workout ideas, race recaps, easy recipes, new products I’ve tried, interesting things I’ve seen or done, or whatever is on my mind.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO STAY FIT? I have to say running, but I also enjoy cycling (I just got a bike last year!), hiking, and walking my dog.
DO YOU HAVE ANY CURRENT GOALS OR RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO SHARE? I just did Tina’s Best Body Bootcamp for the first time! If you’ve done it you know that’s an accomplishment to be proud of!
WHAT ARE 5 THINGS YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT?
- My family and friends.
- My dog.
- My Christian faith.
- My work — I’m a patent attorney and I really love my job.
- Healthy living — I was overweight since childhood, and didn’t figure out the joys of eating right and exercising until after I graduated from law school heavier and unhealthier than ever. Now I am hooked on endorphins and truly prefer healthy foods to fast food.
WHAT IS YOUR #1 TIP FOR HEALTHY LIVING? Focus on progress, not perfection. Every healthy choice will get you that much closer to your goal. You don’t have to follow the "perfect" diet or workout for hours every day to be healthy.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WISH TO SHARE: I feel so blessed to be part of such a supportive blogging community. I love how we support and encourage each other, and I enjoy being inspired to try new things (like green monster smoothies) and set new goals (like running a half marathon). I have made so many friends through blogging, and I hope to get to know even more of you!
