1 New Blog To Check Out – Carol @ Lucky Zucca

Carol is a fellow Atlanta blogger who I have had the greatest pleasure of meeting. She has the biggest heart and really puts herself out there on her blog. Her recent post on 10 Ways To Overcome Unhealthy Thought Patterns really struck me as inspirational. I just had to share her words here…and all her words make me smile. I bet she will make you smile too! ![]()

Coconut almond milk??? I must find this! Cant wait to see the party pictures
Ditto on the milk. Sounds really good! I love the quotes you have. Thanks for sharing them!
Have a good weekend darling!!!
i need to find that coconut/almond milk!
That milk sounds amazing! Have a great weekend
I think the best posts I read this week focused on things that seem “taboo” for bloggers to talk about but it happens – weight loss and blogging etiquette!
I always like the more taboo topic posts too Chelsey!
I am checking out that post on Lucky Zucca! Well I’m traveling back to Boston on Tuesday, but I’m not necessarily looking forward to it because it means I have to get back to classes and studying haha.
honestly one of the most helpful/eye-opening for me was the thyroid post you wrote! next week i’m forcing nate to make an appt. for a physical and i’m planning on doing one soon as soon as the pregnancy hormones are gone and won’t skew my results. we want to be as healthy as we can be!
i LOVE that self respect quote! all so very true and such a great reminder. have a great weekend, tina!
I did it > I gave up!
Enjoy the party
I saw that coconut almond milk in the store and was so tempted to buy it! Glad to hear you liked it
Have a great weekend!
I think I know what your racing/travel plans are! Am I right?
Well I know you know part of it since we talked about it before.
Travel plans??? Does moving our family to Florida-1100 miles away from where we are currently count? I am definitely looking forward to that as my hubby and I are currently living apart.
I currently have a giveaway running on my blog (expires at midnight tonight). It comes with a review of a book I recently read and though it’s a personal finance book (Money Saving Mom’s Budget) I found it to be very inspirational and relevant for my weight-loss goals as well. I have been blessed beyond measure by the attention it has received and by the readers who left such vulnerable and honest comments about what they are struggling with in their own lives.

I also found a new blog this week-it’s a man just starting out on his own weight-loss journey. He has 300 pounds to lose and started off with a bang this week losing about 7 pounds. He’s got a great sense of humor so I look forward to following his journey and I hope he sticks with it and keeps blogging. You can find him at http://www.bigmantheory.com
I often contemplate almond vs coconut milk for smoothies for ages in the morning (well, 10 seconds, but that’s a long time). Now I need not do that. Thanks for passing along the great news!
I LOVE jump squats….but i really hate them – Can’t stop doing them – they are SO effective.
180 – wow
xoxo from Trinidad
ahhhh I need to find that milk! It sounds delicious!
Wow, coconut almond milk looks really good actually!! I hope you have a great weekend! Love these quotes!! (and can’t wait to read up on your running plans!)
That coconut almond milk seems to be a big hit. I, too, have to find myself some — ASAP.
No big travel plans for this weekend, but at the end of February, I’ll be visiting my brother and his family in Salt Lake City. Can’t wait to meet my niece for the first time and see my nephew again (I saw him right after he was born, and he turned two last summer.)
Those 180 squat jumps are definitely a killer. P90X has that move and several other variations. They definitely take your legs to fatigue. Thanks for sharing.
I can’t wait to see pictures of the birthday! so fun!
upcoming travel plans disney princess in feb!
I’m glad the birthday party was fun and can’t wait to see pictures. I really enjoyed the thyroid post this week, too… probably my favorite post, just because it was very informative about the subject. Thyroid problems affect so many people now so it’s good to be aware of the symptoms. You always have to be your own medical advocate anyway if you feel like there’s something up with your body.
No upcoming travel plans for me yet, but maybe a vacation in the Fall… hopefully another cruise. We shall see…
Fav post of the week: This one! http://hungryhealthyhilary.com/2012/01/10/so-about-that-weight-thing/ where I talked about my new eating plan to tackle the extra poundage I’ve put on…great suggestions/discussion in the comments section and also I shared a great easy delicious recipe!
Went to the grocery store on a mission to find the coconut almond milk today. Not yet – but for now, I guess I could mix the two?
Love the encouraging picture posts. AND…. anticipating a visit to New Orleans this Spring!
Ooooh I can’t wait to see smashed cake pics!!
Tina! Thank you so much for mentioning my blog. I love you! That post is definitely my favorite I’ve written recently and I really appreciate the recognition more than I can express! About to read up on the birthday bash recap!!
