About Tina

Welcome! My name is Tina Reale – a wife, mother, runner, personal trainer, sweets lover, recovered binge eater, woman of faith, and fitness aficionado.

Years ago, I fell in love with fitness. I grew up participating in competitive cheerleading, yet fell out of regular activity the first couple of years in college. My junior year, I begrudgingly signed up for an aerobics and weights class for a required graduation credit. Over the course of those three months, fitness became a part of me. As they say, the rest is history.

I dove headfirst into this newfound passion – reading a variety of texts and gaining as much knowledge as I could on nutrition, diet, exercises, workout programs, etc. I created numerous workout plans for myself and friends. Time at the gym became one of my greatest pleasures. Working towards fitness goals drove me forward and gave me such fulfillment.

Fitness helped me through some very dark periods in my life, such as when I struggled with binge eating disorder. My workouts empowered me.

A year after my first pregnancy, I trained myself for a fitness competition.

After that competition, I had my son, then rededicated myself to getting back in pre-pregnancy shape. Within six months, I reached my goal weight and had picked up running. I now train regularly for races, while continuing to improve my fitness and shape my body with regular cross training and strength workouts.

Through the entire journey, I knew I wanted to share the same passion and determination with others. Which leads me to now. My chance to do just that. To give back some of the life fitness has given me. To allow you to experience that same rejuvenation. To go alongside you as we journey to your goals – to be your best on the inside and out. Cheers!

Staying Heart Healthy

May 16, 2012

Now that summer quickly approaches, I have noticed the motivations behind eating nutritiously and working out moving more towards the vanity side of things. I will own up to the fact that, yes, I like to feel confident in how I look in a bathing suit or in a pair of shorts and a tank [...]

Pure Indulgence

May 15, 2012

I have never gone crazy over gifts for holidays like Christmas or anniversaries. For those celebrations, I prefer to just spend time with loved ones and forget about the gifts. The relationships matter to me most. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t love some gifts or special treatment on occasion. In fact, after becoming a [...]

It’s True What They Say

May 14, 2012

It’s true what they say. They will get you. They will get you good. I didn’t think the “Taper Crazies” would get me. I thought I wouldn’t turn into a loony bin thinking constantly about the upcoming race. Turns out…I’m not so immune. It makes sense. I spent about 5 months and countless miles preparing [...]
